With configuration variables

Light decoder are delivered in the correct operation mode.

The accessory addresses to switch each function output can be adjusted by CV-programming:

1 The desired accessory address is administered by two CVs:

In the first (CV9, 551, 554, ...) the value is written that is the result of the division of the accessory address by 256.
In the second (CV1, 552, 555, ...) the remainder of the division.

as far as the controller is able to address.

Herein light decoder differ from 'normal' Z1 decoder. For 'normal' decoder the given programming command sets an eight-light signal.

Setting of the locomotive address

If the function outputs should be switched with the function keys of a locomotive, CV60 must be changed to the value 1. Additionally the locomotive address needs to be set.

Changing of the operation mode of the function outputs and their characteristics

Qdecoder support a variety of configurations to their function outputs, which can be altered for individual or all function outputs. In particular, flashing, pulsing and alternative flashing are interesting variations. The full range of possibilities is described on the support pages.
